Family-owned and operated in Massachusetts since 1919
Lowell-based Roche Brothers Barrel & Drum Company and Roche Manufacturing have been run by members of the Roche family since William Roche founded the company in 1919.
Today William’s grandsons, Greg and Mike, and great-grandson Mike Jr., are proud to keep manufacturing strong in Massachusetts and to build on the family tradition of meeting the container needs of New England, New York, and Canada.
As President, Greg manages operations for Roche Manufacturing. In this role, Greg is responsible for the new steel drum product line.
Greg is the son of Charlie Roche, who worked at Roche Brothers from 1958 to 2009. Greg started working at the company while in high school and joined full-time immediately upon graduating from Merrimack College.
Greg lives with his wife and two daughters in a suburb north of Boston. He enjoys New England’s changing seasons and its winter sports.
Mike is the son of the late Tom Roche, who worked at Roche Brothers from 1956 to 2005. After working in the Boston construction industry, Mike returned to Roche Brothers to run the new and reconditioned plastic drum product line.
A father of four, Mike recently became a grandfather. Mike loves boating on New England lakes, as well as skiing.
Son of the Mike Roche, Mike Jr. is the fourth-generation to work at Roche Bros.
